This coming weekend, Feb. 10-11, Drew Grow and The Pastors’ Wives and Kelli Schaefer perform back-to-back nights…AND release two new songs each.

Amigo/Amiga Recordings world packs it’s gear to come up to Seattle, our second home, for a weekend of shows!  The Columbia City Theater has been kind enough to open its doors for us all, Drew Grow and The Pastors’ Wives on Friday, February 10th and our label-mate Kelli Schaefer on Saturday, February 11th joined on the bill that night by new-to-the-A/A family, Tope.

In true A/A fashion DGPW and Kelli Schaefer will be releasing, for that one night only, A-side/B-side singles featuring two brand new songs from each artist.

All attendees will receive a free copy of the new DGPW A/B single with their ticket on Friday, and all attendees will receive a free copy of the new Kelli Schaefer A/B single on Saturday.  These singles are from recording sessions that are building toward this year’s full-length album releases by both artists.  These sneak-peek recordings will not be available anywhere else!

Dead of winter is prime house-show time.  Everyone pile into a warm house for an unpredictable, face-to-face happening of friends and music.  So be it.

I’ll be leaving the bandmates in Portland for this trip, venturing out solo, joining forces with other solos and bands, stop by stop.

Last winter, just before the wreck, I released a solo-acoustic record and never then had the chance to come play the songs.. here’s that tour.

December 22nd – Doug Fir Lounge: Each December, a few days before Christmas, our record label Amigo Amiga throws a holiday bash at the Doug Fir Lounge in Portland. I suppose now that we’re in our third year, we could start to call it a tradition. This is always somewhat of a celebration of the year past, the year to come, and as a way of saying thanks for all of your support. Our labelmate, Kelli Schaefer will join us as always, and this year, we’ve invited our good friends from San Francisco Birds & Batteries and Seattle songwriter Jason Dodson, who is best known for his band The Maldives.

This party is always a good time. The ticket prices are kept to a minimum to keep the show affordable, as a way of saying thanks, and a way of welcoming your visiting friends and family to our neck of the woods. We started this label a few years ago with a little dream and a lot of work – thanks for helping make it what it is today.

We do hope to see you tomorrow night.
